Welcome to Ghidra, a software reverse engineering (SRE) framework provided by the National Security Agency (NSA). By downloading, installing, or using Ghidra, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with these terms, please refrain from using Ghidra.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ghidra, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws and regulations. If you are using Ghidra on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms and Conditions.
2. License and Use
Ghidra is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, you are granted a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use, modify, and distribute Ghidra by the Apache License.
3. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to use Ghidra for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
- Engaging in activities that harm or exploit minors in any way.
- Distributing malware or using Ghidra to create or distribute malicious software.
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract the source code of Ghidra itself, except to the extent permitted by applicable Law.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Ghidra, including its design, structure, and code, is the property of the National Security Agency (NSA) and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use of Ghidra’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
5. Privacy Policy
Your use of Ghidra is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. Using Ghidra, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the NSA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Ghidra or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Modifications to Terms
The NSA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions anytime. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms and Conditions on this page. Your continued use of Ghidra after posting modifications constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the United States.
11. Termination
The NSA reserves the right to terminate your access to Ghidra at any time, with or without cause and without notice. All licenses granted to you under these Terms and Conditions will terminate immediately upon termination.
